Day 342 – The fear of a post

I typed this post this morning at 5 a.m.

I have been hesitant to type, post, and share.

This is a post I’ve been wanting to write for a while.

Life can be hard.

The world is heavy.

The last year has been one of the hardest years of my life.

Sickness, trauma, loss, repeat.

Writing my book is the hardest thing I have ever done.

Recovering from illness last year was tough.

I had to sit myself down (physically and emotionally) and be in the observer’s chair.

I went to a mental place of reviewing my life and leadership journey.

Some of the chapters were not easy to revisit and write.

As a child, I wore an eye patch on my right eye. The ophthalmologist could not tell my parents what was wrong with my eye.

I was bullied from kindergarten to grade 8, rebelled, and did not wear the eyepatch in high school as I couldn’t handle it anymore.

This taught me to be resilient, bold, and push forward.

My first solo book is in its pre-sale campaign until April 16th.

Yes, I am asking for support.

Everyone posts about this, and I am asking for it. It’s my call to action for my LinkedIn connections.

I am at 75% of my goal of selling my books.

How can you help?

Individuals:

1. Purchase a ticket to the virtual fireside chat and a paperback

2. Purchase a ticket to the virtual fireside chat and an Ebook

Businesses:

1. Purchase a one-hour virtual fireside chat for you and your staff and receive 25 copies of my book.

Other ways to support me:

Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help.

Please share my pre-sale campaign on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn with your friends, family, and network.

Please use #HeartCenteredLeadershipPlaybook and tag me so we can help amplify your efforts.

Please recommend my book to five (5) friends, family members, or co-workers who you think would enjoy it via text or direct message on social media.

This is how we rise and lift. We support each other with action!

Thank you so much for all of your love and support!
