Day 170 – Nancy

I will remember her name for my life.

She was my last female boss.

I worked very hard in my job.

I came in early.

I stayed late.

I worked through my lunch.

I was happy, a team player and was willing to do and learn everything I could.

I was 24 years old.

At three months, Nancy said, ”it’s just not working out.”

One of the VP’s (Steve) took me for lunch and said ”it’s not you”, go start your own business.

On May 30, 1990, I took Steve’s advice.

Tall Poppy Syndrome is still happening today.

Women need to help each other rise.

It’s good for the heart. 💙
