Words.
They are important.
They have meaning.
They can be friendly.
They can be hurtful.
Language is key in all communication.
I remember as a kid hearing ”stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.”
I heard this in early elementary.
It’s amazing as a woman in mid life how I still talk about this with my own children, my colleagues, my mentees and a daily reminder to myself.
This is why I choose heart-centered leadership.
It does and will always be the way to lead. 💙
